5. What is the WaveBird controller?

The WaveBird Wireless Controller eliminates the need for a cord, offering players a more freewheeling, wireless style of play. The WaveBird controller uses an RF system with a transmission distance of about 10m (33 feet). Using RF technology eliminates the inherent problems of infra-red controllers. The WaveBird is so powerful it can play games through walls, from the backyard, and more importantly from under the comfort of your bed sheets.

The Game Boy Advance GameCube Link cable allows you to connect your Game Boy Advance into the Nintendo GameCube’s controller socket, which opens up many innovative gameplay possibilities. 9. Can I play N64 cartridges on NINTENDO GAMECUBE? What is the NINTENDO GAMECUBE disc?

No, because with the launch of NINTENDO GAMECUBE, Nintendo is moving from silicon-based cartridges to an optical disc medium, which effectively makes backwards compatibility impossible. The proprietary NINTENDO GAMECUBE discs are small enough in size to allow for the consoles extremely compact dimensions and minimal load times, while building in a layer of counterfeit protection that isn’t available on standard DVD.

10. What is the correct way to write NINTENDO GAMECUBE?

The preferred way to write the system’s name is in all capitals, NINTENDO GAMECUBE. If necessary, it can also be written as Nintendo GameCube.
